What to load first
The quickest way to find out whether this works for you is to load a folder you already search often, then ask it the thing you gave up looking for last week.
A good first corpus
- The documents people ask you about. Policies, procedures, the contract templates, the decisions from the last quarter's meetings.
- One team's material, not the whole archive. A few hundred documents your team actually uses tells you more than ten thousand nobody opens.
- The things that change. Where a rule has been updated, load both versions. Cornerstone dates the superseded one and reads from the current one.
How documents are counted
A document is any file you upload, whatever its type or size. Your workspace includes 10,000 documents. Past that we talk to you before anything changes; see pricing for the detail.
What to keep out
Do not load personal data you have no lawful basis to process, or special-category data such as health records, unless your organisation has a valid condition for it. The acceptable use policy sets this out. Content you mark as restricted is held out of the search index and access-controlled.
