Install Workbench
Workbench runs inside VS Code or Cursor. It adds your organisation's knowledge, its work and support to the AI you already use there.
What you need
- VS Code 1.102 or newer on macOS or Windows, or Cursor with Claude Code.
- A Claude or Codex account, signed in with your own details. Workbench adds no model of its own.
- An Instructed Intelligence workspace. If you do not have one yet, start a trial.
From the Marketplace
Open the Extensions view in VS Code or Cursor, search for II Workbench, and install it. The publisher is Instructed Intelligence.
From the download
If your machine cannot reach the Marketplace, download the extension file and install it from a terminal:
- VS Code:
code --install-extension ii-workbench-0.0.1.vsix - Cursor:
cursor --install-extension ii-workbench-0.0.1.vsix
Then restart the editor once. The next step is signing in and connecting your tools.
