Sign in and connect your tools

One sign-in reaches everything. There is no separate login per tool and no password to set.

Open the command palette and run II Workbench: Sign in. Your browser opens, you sign in to Instructed Intelligence once, and the editor confirms who you are signed in as. Your session is held in your operating system's keychain, never in a file.

Connect your tools

Run II Workbench: Connect my tools. This wires Cornerstone (your knowledge), the Coordinator (your work) and support into your assistant.

The tools appear in your next chat, not the one already open. Start a new conversation and they are there.

Two optional steps

  • II Workbench: Add the knowledge guide writes a short note into your project's guide file. It tells your assistant to check recorded knowledge before answering and cite it, to say so when nothing is recorded, to offer to save new decisions, and to treat work as tickets. We recommend it.
  • II Workbench: Simplify the layout turns the editor into a chat-forward window. A second command puts every setting back exactly as it was.

Check the connection

II Workbench: Show connection status tells you what is connected and as whom. If your assistant says it cannot reach your knowledge, start a new chat.
